The post-rally aid mission in Mbour, Senegal.

While some of the team flew home, others brought bikes to the port to be shipped out, Charlie and Robb jumped in one of the team's support trucks with Steve Huff from Wheels 2 Africa.  After driving to the airport and waiting hours for customs, the three drive out into the Senegal countryside to a small village called Mbour.  There, in conjuction with a local school, they distributed over 500 pairs of Keen shoes to the local schoolchildren.  The operation went great, and the local children, as well as their parents and grandparents, were very appreciative.

This was the first combined aid mission between Rally Pan Am and Wheels 2 Africa, and it was a great success, hopefully laying the groundwork for bigger and better missions in the future.
