Stage 10 - Loop Around Nema

Since the cancellation of the Timbuktu stages, the organization added a loop around Nema today.  Casey finished 28th, remaining in 33rd overall.  Paul Broome, Chris Jones and Steve LaRoza all completed the stage as well.

Steve broke his hand a few days ago, so is in quite a bit of pain...  but he is plugging away.

For the assistance crew, today is a true rest day.  Sid and Robb did a bit of work on one of the assistance trucks, but otherwise a lot of rest in the shade, moving around the truck as the sun moves.

Tomorrow we have a short liaison with the riders, then Thursday the race sets off again into Mali.
