Rally Pan Am recently returned from three days in Elko, Nevada at the KTM Buckaroo High Desert Rally.  Scot Harden of KTM invited the team out to show their race bikes and truck, and to show slides and tell stories at the Saturday night banquet.  The team also go to enjoy some great riding throughout the weekend.

The weekend was a great success except for a low speed crash on a Friday fun ride that left Casey McCoy with a broken leg.  He was taken by helicopter to the local hospital where x-rays were taken.  Casey and the team then arranged for him to take a medical flight from Elko back to Mammoth Lakes, California, where his personal orthopedic surgeon operated on his leg within about 14 hours of the crash.

The operation was a great success, and Casey is resting at home now without so much as a cast.  He will be starting rehab in a week or so, and will be back on a bike in six to eight weeks.  All of us wish him a speedy recovery
